Job Purpose
The
Security Guard safeguards the office premises, staff, visitors, and assets,
while being the friendly, welcoming presence visitors first encounter at the
door.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Management
- • Guard
- office premises and assets against theft, damage, and unauthorised access.
- • Conduct
- regular patrols of the office premises.
- • Monitor and
- report any suspicious activity.
- Visitor Management
- • Receive
- visitors courteously at the door.
- • Take and
- record visitor details accurately at the point of entry.
- • Verify
- appointments where applicable and direct visitors to the right office or
- officer.
- Safety and Emergency Response
- • Respond
- appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
- • Report
- incidents promptly to management.
- • Support
- implementation of office safety procedures.
- Qualifications and Experience
- • KCSE
- certificate or equivalent.
- • Prior
- security experience preferred.
