Orient Construction is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial aspects of structural and interior fit-out projects, ensuring effective cost control, timely delivery, quality compliance, and value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, cost plans, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Manage procurement, tendering, contractor evaluation, and supplier selection.
- Manage construction and interior fit-out contracts, variations, and claims.
- Monitor project expenditure, certify interim payments, and prepare financial reports.
- Prepare and agree on final accounts with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct value engineering and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership with IQSK, BORAQS, or a relevant professional body.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
